Nicholas Marchesan is an Associate Lawyer with Achkar Law focusing on litigation and employment disputes, representing both businesses and employees. Nicholas also has experience as a former Human Resources Manager, in both unionized and non-unionized settings, allowing him to connect with clients through every step of the litigation process.
Nicholas’ passion for employment and labour law was ignited during his undergraduate studies in Labour Studies. After completing his Masters of Industrial Relations & Human Resources degree, he joined an international transportation company as a Human Resources Manager, where he worked with company counsel in collective bargaining negotiations, workplace investigations and terminations, along with managing all matters pertaining to progressive discipline and human rights accommodation. This experience inspired Nicholas to attend law school, to offer clients a unique blend of experience, knowledge and insights.
In his free time, Nicholas enjoys reading, exercising and playing ice hockey, along with kayaking and hiking with his family.
