Natalie Chan

Natalie Chan is an associate lawyer at Achkar Law. Her practice focuses on labour and employment litigation, and she has represented both employees and employers in a wide range of employment-related matters, at both civil courts and tribunals. She has a diverse background in various areas of civil litigation, including areas such as real estate and commercial, personal injury, and class actions.

During law school, she developed skills in drafting and legal research by contributing to a textbook manuscript on consent and assisting with the creation of a wrongful conviction database. She is a staunch advocate for access to justice and has been involved with pro-bono initiatives such as Pro Bono Students Canada, the Equality Rights in Accommodation Working Group, Law and Action Within Schools, and the Journal of Law and Equity.

Natalie holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto with High Distinction, and obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law. She is proficient in Cantonese, and also holds an Authorized Court Transcriptionist degree.

In her free time, Natalie enjoys reading and creative writing, and spending time with friends and family.
