Joseph A. B. A. Tanimowo-Reyes is a Lawyer at Achkar Law. He advises and represents both employees and employers in a wide range of workplace legal matters, including employment, labour, and human rights disputes. His work focuses on delivering practical legal solutions tailored to each client’s situation.
Joseph completed his legal education in New York City and is licensed to practice law in Ontario, as well as in New York and New Jersey. His multi-jurisdictional background allows him to approach legal issues with a broader perspective and a well-rounded understanding of different legal systems.
Before obtaining his law licence, Joseph worked in support roles at both criminal defence and insurance defence firms. These early experiences provided him with valuable exposure to litigation and client advocacy. After being called to the bar, he transitioned into civil plaintiff and insurance litigation roles, where he continued to build on his legal and courtroom experience before joining Achkar Law.
Outside of his legal practice, Joseph has a strong interest in technology and video games, which keeps him engaged and curious in his free time.
