Clifford Singh

Clifford Singh is a Senior Associate Lawyer with Achkar Law focusing on employment law, corporate commercial disputes, and litigation. He has represented parties in Superior Court as well as numerous administrative tribunals.

Clifford has an extensive litigation background, having conducted over 3,000 examinations as well as appearing on hundreds of contested court appearances. He started articling at one of southwestern Ontario’s biggest litigation firms, before working for a boutique insurance defence firm and becoming a leading fraud investigation lawyer during this time. Clifford then spent the next decade-plus of his career advocating for injured persons both at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO), the License Appeal Tribunal (LAT), and in Superior Court. He has appeared on several hundred mediations and pre-trials and is extremely familiar and comfortable in litigation settings, but also appreciates and understands the value of resolving matters without the need for protracted court battles. Clifford takes a pragmatic, practical, and client-centred approach to his practice to achieve maximum results for his clients while minimizing their stress, time, and costs.

Prior to his career in law, Clifford obtained a Specialist designation in Philosophy from the University of Toronto St. George Campus. He was an editor of the undergraduate journal of philosophy, Noesis and parlayed this experience into obtaining his LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario.

In his free time, Clifford is an avid NBA and NFL fan, and enjoys classic film and prestige television.
