Alexandra Maddeaux is a Senior Associate Corporate Commercial Litigation Lawyer at Achkar Law who represents businesses and individuals in commercial litigation and employment litigation, along with shareholder and other business disputes.

Alexandra earned her J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School and holds an Honours B.A. in Legal Studies from Carleton University. She was called to the Ontario bar and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.

Alexandra brings a diversified litigation background that spans family, criminal, and international law disputes, experience that informs how she handles complex commercial and employment matters today. Her commercial work includes breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, directors’ and officers’ liability, partnership and shareholder disputes, business torts, and injunctive relief. On the employment side, she handles wrongful and constructive dismissal, terminations and layoffs, human rights, and workplace harassment and discrimination.

Outside the office, Alexandra enjoys travelling, skydiving, and scuba diving.
