Christopher Achkar is the founder and managing partner of Achkar Law. He works with clients on the full range of their employment law needs, including human rights and business litigation issues.

He represents clients at multiple levels of court, as well as before tribunals such as the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Canadian Human Rights Commission, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board.

Christopher also practises in corporate and commercial litigation and disputes, including shareholder agreements, contract disputes, construction law, liens, incorporations, compliance, and other business law matters.

He has worked, and continues to work, with some of the top law firms and legal professionals in the field, and has experience at the Federal Court of Appeal.
Christopher serves on the Board of Directors of Beyond Reasonable Doubt Community, a non-profit that promotes legal awareness and access to justice, and on the Board of the Cabbagetown Community Arts Centre, which provides music lessons to families with limited resources.

Outside the office, Christopher enjoys sports including rugby, golf, and swimming, and has a flair for music, playing the piano, guitar, violin, saxophone, and drums.
